Help me test Apposite

It's my new Android app: a drawer that shows the apps you use at the place you're at. Before it can go on Google Play, I need people to try it for two weeks. Joining takes two taps.

Use the same Google account your phone's Play Store uses, for both steps. If Play says the app isn't available, give it a few minutes and try step 2 again.

Needs Android 14 or newer. Free, with no ads.

What it does

Open the drawer and Apposite shows the apps that fit where you are. At the gym it puts your workout and music apps up front, at the store your list and payment apps.

Apposite's drawer at a Target store: the store's hours, buttons to call or get directions, Target's own app, and apps such as Calculator, Calendar and Keep Notes — At a store

Apposite's drawer at a park: the weather, and apps such as Camera, Weather, Photos and Runkeeper — At a park

What I'm asking

Keep Apposite installed and use it for at least 14 days. Google requires 14 days of testing before an app can be released to everyone.

When a suggestion is wrong, something is confusing, or the app crashes, tell me with the Feedback button above the drawer's handle, or in Settings › Feedback & Help.

The group may get an occasional email about a new build.

Privacy

No accounts and no ads.
Suggestions are worked out on your phone. Your coordinates never reach our servers; the app asks Google Places to name the place you're at.
Trip Mode is the only part that checks your location while Apposite is closed. You turn it on yourself, it runs for two hours unless you extend it, and it shows a notification while it runs.

Read the full privacy policy.

Leaving

Uninstall the app, then leave the group.
